ArborFest Day

Posted on September 3, 2024

Celebrate ARBORFEST this coming Saturday, October 29th between 10 am and noon, behind Prospect City Hall.

There will be 50 trees available from the City of Prospect at no charge to residents, one per household.  Fall is an ideal time for adding plants like trees to your yard.  Planting helps keep Prospect green and maintains our status as an Arbor Foundation Tree City.  We expect several arborists to be on hand to answer questions.

These trees are several feet tall in 3-gallon containers.  Most are mid-sized trees and many feature spring blooms.  Quantities of each species is limited.

This year’s trees will include:

  • Cornus Kousa Dogwood
  • Bracken’s Brown Magnolia
  • Jane Magnolia
  • Halesia Carolina Silverbell
  • Trident Maple
