Dedication of "Charlotte's Playground"

Posted on September 3, 2024

Please join me at 4:00 pm today, June 13, at the pavilion in Little Hunting Creek Park (next to City Hall) for the dedication of Charlotte’s Playground.  During her service on the council, Sarah O’Dell effectively advocated for the playground leading the current council to name it after Sarah and Jeff’s daughter.  In June 2022, Sarah’s husband, Jeff, received a promotion that led to their family moving to Germany.

Sarah is in Kentucky for a few days, and we have scheduled the dedication to coincide with her visit.  So, please come by to visit with your friends, thank Sarah, and join the celebration as we cut the ribbon for Charlotte’s Playground!

Sincerely,

Mayor Doug Farnsley
