Canopy Tree Program

The Canopy Tree Program is here, and what a deal! This is an opportunity for homeowners to partner with Prospect to plant trees that will help keep the City green in years to come.

Tree varieties available include: Scarlet Oak, Black Gum – Green Gable, Heritage Oak, American Beech, American Yellow wood, White Oak.There will be ten 2 inch diameter trees available on a first come, first serve basis.

The homeowner is responsible for a $175 fee that includes the tree of choice, tree guard, mulch and professional installation with the City funding the balance of cost, $175. Residents can get a wonderful shade tree for half price. Prior participants replied to a survey and reported being very happy with their tree and their experience.
